New labels get created when a submission is made with the new label in the label field.
3 HOW TO ADD A NEW ARTIST?
The same as labels, new artists are created when their name is entered into any of the artist fields on a submission. Be careful to link up the right artists, you can use the Artist Name Variation for this,
4 WHAT TO DO WHEN A SUBMISSION IS REMOVED OR GETS 'NEEDS MAJOR / MINOR CHANGES' VOTE?
If a submission of yours is removed, you will find it under your DRAFT RELEASES page, with the vote details regarding why it was removed in the history. Releases are removed because they were considered not suitable for the database. Either they will be duplicates of already existing entries, or they were deemed to not contain enough information to be adequate, or there will be another reason stated. Please see the General Guidelines for what is considered valid information. Please do not resubmit a removed release unless you can address the reasons why it was removed, with reference to these guidelines.
When you get a 'Needs Major Changes' or 'Needs Minor Changes' vote, please check the reasons given for the vote (on the history page), and then edit the submission to address the issues (the edit link is on the main release page). You should double check your submission for any other errors when you do this.
5 HOW TO BECOME A VOTER?
Voters are selected automatically. Be active on the site, make good quality submissions, know the guidelines, help others, and make good corrections to existing entries, and you will be selected. More information about this is at the Voting Guidelines page.

Rank is a count of your contribution to this site.
Adding a new release = You earn 3 POINTS
Updating a page = You earn 1 POINT
Rank (and stats in general) is currently being revised.
