These two labels (both "run" by Phantasmata Production
For example, alidarkalien, etc. The same nonsense can be seen over on RateYourMusic and Instagram.
None of the entries use actual scans or photos of any physical items. Despite supposedly publishing 240 issues since 2005, with 90.000 subscribers, I can't find a single photo on any of their social media s, eBay, Google Images, or anywhere else. (There is a French "KULT Magazine" but it's unrelated).
I have put one release up for removal but maybe staff need to handle this: https://discogs.versitio.com/release/9445360-KultRock-Sound-2/history#latest -

No evidence either on my side, except : https://www.kultrock.com/kultrocksound.htm and https://www.phantasmatagroup.com/ppreleases.htm
No image, no result, no place to .
I'm for removing all those fake subs.
Diognes_The_Fox : Could you help, please?

For example, KultRock Sound # 24
That release is mentioned here https://www.kultrock.com/kultrocksound.htm

Based on the above website, it seems that these are distributed via the magazine.
To be honest, it doesn't look clearly fake.
Edit: Judging from https://www.kultrock.com/events.htm the site is still actively maintained so has anyone considered ing them and ask for more info ? information is on the site too, so shouldn't be too hard. -

Yes, all (or near) of them, but the site is highly doubtful.
And have a look a the prices. Quite crazy!
I tried images, infos via Google Italia, but no evidence. That seems very strange for CD that would have been sold with a magazine.
I also compared the tracklists of the CD with the Kult Rock Festival (from ), in case the CDs come from te different editions of the festival, but nothing.
That's why I ask the opinion from a member of staff.
I really think that Profoundemonium is right. -

jweijde s 385 fake s propping up all these releases. Very interesting. Perhaps they are behind the operation ;) -

Over 99% of the s adding to collection/wantlist are associated with the label.
I am getting some internal assistance to remove those s as it would take me a few days of solid work to manually remove them. -

I'm not ing the fake s. I'm questioning the quick mass removal of releases. Shouldn't there be a little bit more grounds for that than only bodged statistics ? -

The magazine does not appear to exist. There’s no reference to it anywhere outside of the website and the social media sites which are all propped up by fake s. All of the covers look like bad mockups with nothing more than a band name.
The “Events” page does list actual real events like Comicon and Wacken no mention of why they’re relevant and none of them seem to mention this “magazine” at all.
It looks like an elaborate scam to sell advertising space and charge bands to “appear” on their compilations. -

Hello,
I agree it looks like a scam, too much work for just a joke lol
There is no Italian people familiar with rock and metal who can confirm for sure the magazine and compilations do not exist?
Also, looks like the also submit real releases from real band but with fake credits for Enrico D'Aniello?
A Sound Of Thunder - Theme From Shadowman is real on digital platforms or bandcamp but what about the credit?

Maybe not remove everything from s too quickly -

Looking into this, the “executive producer” credit is a paid incentive for backing the band on Kickstarter. It’s not a “real” credit but apparently appears on the physical album. -

Hi guys, I'll start by saying that I have little time because I work full time and I don't like spending it writing on the web but I'll intervene for the sake of fairness regarding some absurdities that have been written.
In the early 2000s I played and enjoyed writing for some underground fanzines. I received several albums and actually exchanged many of them. However, I that the albums of the small labels you're talking about were extremely limited in number (33 or 66 I don't , I should look in the cellar to see if those promotional sheets that the bands and labels sent together with their demos/albums still exist but I won't because I don't know if I'd find them but above all, is anyone really interested?). In any case, they were distributed mainly as CD-Rs to the participating bands who requested them and to some industry insiders for promotional purposes.
On the web I also found a review (not mine) of Phantasmata Vol.2 https://www.metalwave.it/recensione.php?id=11
I definitely have the first 4 volumes of Phantasmata at hand I don't know if you are interested and I have to some images or by now you have already decided to clean up and so I don't waste time -

At this point I would say that the deception is so widespread and so organized that a mass removal is not unwarranted, and if any of these physically exist (as 191919 claims) they can be added back with appropriate pictures proving authenticity. -

Just FYI all of the 100+ submissions that were nominated for removal are now gone; I'm not sure if that's 100% of everything but it's certainly most of it. -

The info at https://www.kultrock.com/kultrocksound.htm suggests that the releases are digital s with a booklet, so maybe that's why the covers look like mockups ? It does make it a lot easier to distribute the releases to 'subscribers'.

Point was mainly that the flyers on that page must have been ed recently, meaning the site is still maintained. So it might be worth it to them via the info on the page.
