This one:
Lou Reed – Rock N Roll Animal

Although, that, apparently, was the selling point of Dynaflex. -

Maybe 90 g? I don't really know. Crazy bleed through, other than that the record sounds fantastic. -

Probably any of the dynaflex releases I have. I think I have a few Bowies on dynaflex. They sound great. -

Definitively this one The Police - Outlandos D'Amour, incredible sound but the record is close to a flexi disc. -

I now weigh all of my records prior to playing them to properly set the VTA for optimum playback. I recall several of them being around 95g. To my surprise the most common weights were between 110g and 120g.
I came upon this process by trial and error. I concluded that without calipers, the best way was to weigh them since they all have the same diameter. Been doing this since the first of the year and it has been very successful. Before this I would hold the record and guess its weight for a starting point. Obviously hit or miss but I was more right than wrong. Going back and rerecording some of my very favorite albums by weighing them has been conclusive and rewarding.
I've yet to put a chart together but I do enter the weights into a thread I use to keep track of my recordings and also in the file folder for the recordings. To date the range starts at 2.30mm for a 100g record up to a maximum height of 3.80mm for an pressing weighing in at 200g. Or the overall range of 1.5mm. My turntable is a SL1200 MK3 for those familiar with the Technics SL turntables and the VTA mechanism. My cart is an AT20SLa
The weight / thickness has absolutely nothing to do with the sound quality has been my experience. It does have everything to do with tuning the turntable for the optimum playback sound. A small adjustment of .25mm can have a profound difference. I have also found that guessing on the side of setting lower than higher is better.
