Don Blackman

American jazz-funk pianist, singer, songwriter, producer, and artist.

Born: 1 September 1953 in Jamaica, Queens, New York, New York, USA.
Died: 10 April 2013 in New York, New York, USA (aged 59, of cancer).

Probably best known for tracks "Holding You, Loving You" and "Heart's Desire" both from his classic album "Don Blackman" (1982).

He also played keyboards and backing vocals on works by other well known artists, including Roy Ayers, and more.
