Seems like I'm one of the lucky ones. While my copy of this album doesn't sound *amazing*, it certainly doesn't sound bad in any way. It's quiet, dynamic and it's got no clicks, pops or crackle at all. -
A couple of days ago I thought "life in 2020 is pretty bad, but at least we've got records!" and I went and got myself this lp, which sounds so bad it's laughable. Bad like phone speaker bad -- ICU, Chinese Satellite and I Know The End sound like low bitrate shadows of themselves and the whole thing is just an ordeal to sit through. Excuse me while I go the mp3 from the coupon and proceed to off myself.

Edited 4 years agoAverage to good audio quality, mild surface noise in places however definitely wouldn't advise against picking this up if you're a fan of the record. As you often get with these softer indie records it's hard to be sure if the low fi leaning audio is intentional or the fault of the pressing itself. -
Edited 4 years agomine is noticeably warped, especially at eye level when it's spinning, but it's still playable and sounds pretty good. the vocals aren't quite as clear as i would hope but oh well

Average pressing of an impressive work by Phoebe Bridgers. There is a fair amount os static-like crackles mostly throughout side A but for some reason it does not annoy me as much as it happens with some other vinyl. Side B is relatively silent, though. The album jacket is really beautiful and it includes a wonderfully illustrated booklet. The signed art print is a charming detail. On the whole I am quite happy with this purchase. -
According to JPC they released 640 copies that were signed, so the total number of this European Seaglass variant is probably a lot more. -
Mine is completely warped, and unplayable... I just paid like 30 EURO for signed print... Where is my music?! -
it is different no sticker on front and signed print in the sleeve exclusive to jpc why did this version get taken down?
