JEWEL CASES
Discogs' grading guidelines state "standard jewel cases are not graded as they are replaceable." The sleeve grade is for the inserts (not a plain case). If the case is a digipak or cardboard sleeve (not housed in a standard jewel case), the sleeve grade applies to the case.
For plastic cases that have hype stickers, I will note if the case has any cracks. For cases that do not have hype stickers and are badly damaged, I will replace them before shipping.
INVENTORY STICKERS
Many of the CDs in my store come from a large broadcast company library. That company used white inventory stickers to organize their library, and these are almost always applied to the upper left corner of the jewel case, digipak, or cardboard sleeve. Some of the stickers can be easily peeled off leaving almost no trace of residue. Others cannot be removed at all. Again, if it's a standard jewel case, even if it has a hype sticker, please expect that there will be a white inventory sticker in the upper left corner. If there's a sticker on the cardboard sleeve or digipak, it will be noted in the comments. None of the records in my store (45s, LPs) have inventory stickers, but some may have radio station stickers or price tags. Any stickers on the sleeves for records will be noted.
SHIPPING FEES
My shipping rates are what the post office charges plus other shipping costs (packing materials, shipping fees). I do not charge a handling fee and try to keep shipping costs as low as possible.
Your Discogs shopping cart should accurately calculate shipping costs based on the quantity, format (CD, vinyl), and/or weight of the items. The dropdown shipping options should present all available options to you based on the items in your cart.
