ABOUT ME:
READ all the way to the bottom! I have thousands of records to list. I have been collecting since 1994 and now it’s time to sell! Check back often. I do work a regular job so give me time to list!
BEST OFFER:
I will accept reasonable offers of up to 20% off. Above that I'll decline unless your aiming to buy a few records or if I've been holding on to it for awhile..
GRADING:
I am very strict if not realistic on grading but I'm not perfect! All my grading is for the most part visual. Please keep a few things in mind when reading my listing descriptions. Scuffs are not scratches. Scuffs are visual while scratches you can feel. If a record has scuffs and scratches, it doesn't mean it won't play through. Anything I think is questionable I will play test with my Ortofon stylus on a Technics 1200 MKII. I note my findings on the pertaining listing.
IF THE RECORD I SELL YOU SKIPS:
If you have budget equipment like Crosley, a vintage child's record player, Numark portable turntable, or any other turntable that does not have an interchangeable cartridge, your records may skip because of the cheap stylus these come with. Fine groove records will definitely skip on these players. Sometimes budget equipment scratches the records! Avoid them!
NON-PAYING BUYER:
Discogs will put in effect their "non-paying buyer" policy after 4 days of non-payment. This means the records you selected will be back on the market and available to everyone else. Negative is auto generated by Discogs. You will be placed on a "blocked buyer" list. If you need more time just let me know!
USA SHIPPING:
All records will be shipped via Media Mail or Ground. Shipping rates are updated regularly based on current USPS rates.
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING COSTS:
I'm not really shipping overseas, but you can ask for a shipping quote. All taxes, tariffs, VAT's and any and all extra charges your postal service or country charges is your responsibility. I am NOT responsible for any additional charges.
MY VINYL GRADING:
--Mint (M) – Absolutely perfect in every way. Possibly never played (although there is no way of knowing).
--Near Mint (NM) – The vinyl will be very glossy and may have been played a few times. There may be a couple of marks on the vinyl that are barely noticeable. The label will grade the same.
--Very Good Plus (VG+) – A few further faults are acceptable, but nothing that really compromises the record visually or audibly. The vinyl will still be visually glossy. May have light inaudible marks, a little background crackle nothing drastic but almost unnoticeable. The label may have a couple spindle marks.
--Very Good (VG) – It’s seen a bit of life. It will have some light noise but mostly noticeable during dead silence. Some gloss is still present on the vinyl. Light pops and clicks, light to medium visible scratches and or scuffs. You can still listen to it and enjoy looking at it. The label may have some writing, stickers, tape, and soiling. It will display spindle marks.
--Very Good Minus (VG-) - Not quite VG or G+. Some gloss still present on the record (although I have come across VG- records that were still very glossy, Capital Records 45s for example). The record will have audible noise but should still play through. Visually it will have scratches, scuffs, hiss, etc. Some collectors still enjoy this grading as a decent filler copy. The label will have spindle marks, writing, tape, tears, stickers etc.
--Good (G) – Absolute filler copy. Only rare records will be listed if they grade this. It should still play through but will vary on your equipment. Noisy playback. Beat label.
JACKET AND INNER SLEEVE GRADING:
--Mint (M) - These pieces will be perfect.
--Mint Minus (M) - Almost perfect. They may have a couple of very tiny creases or corner damage.
--Very Good Plus (VG+) - Still good pieces. They'll have some storage wear, small corner damage, small creases, tiny tears less than 1/2", a BB hole or notch, minor edge wear, and very minor ring wear may show.
--Very Good (VG) - These will show ring wear. Large corner damage, larger creases. Larger tears, less than 2". Will have larger folds. Edge wear. Writing, price stickers, etc. Some wear on the open end of the sleeve.
--Very Good Minus (VG-) These will surely have ring wear, edge wear, creases, folds, full to almost full tears on the seams, surface damage, other obvious damage. Will have writing, stickers, tape, etc. Rough edges on the open end of the jacket/sleeve from pulling the record in and out or crate, shelf, and storage wear. Usually DJ used sleeves will have all these imperfections.
--Good (G) This is basically a sleeve until a better one comes along.
RECORD LINGO:
--DNAP: does not affect play
--XOL: X on the label
--TOL: tear on label
--WOL: writing on label
--SOL: sticker on label
--BB Hole: buy back hole
--BB Notch: buy back notch on the jacket and/or inner sleeve
PACKING:
--Everything is shipped in a record mailer with stiffeners. I ship records outside their jackets within a, inner sleeve. Generic jackets will ship with the record inside it.
--10" shellac records will be shipped in a 16x16x6 box. The record will be placed between cardboard and bubble wrap. The rest of the box will be filled with peanuts.

Once I have received the record, I will compare it with photos I took prior to sending it to you. Unfortunately, people buy Mint records and return lesser graded recorded as a free upgrade.
