My favourite version was by The Barron Knights on Live In Trouble.

Sublime "million seller" that has an oddly melancholic center. Odd, that is, to anyone who's never truly seen the whole of love. To most of us, who knows it feels it. Derrick Harriott does a great cover, with the sort of lounge aspect that could probably have been heard in any solid lounge act circa 77-8?. Stetsasonic also did a VERY memorable cover, rap style, on their Full Gear LP. Classic.
