Edited 15 years agoFicken is a famous underground track, pure Acid House and very minimal. The track was used as a fixed part in every detroit or minimal techno set over a number of years by many famous international names. Thomas Schumacher’s talent for picking up and putting hip hop or pop together with techno is very special. In the case of Ficken he made Acid House minimal. Morphing, but not aggressive acid lines and a house vocal that says “all night long” are set up on a minimal techno pattern – all beautifully produced.
From my point of view the best version is B2 Ficken? (#3).
