Edited 12 months agoJust received this in the mail today, and I'd like to say that the packaging is absolutely WONDERFUL. Just because of that, it's already worth it. The music is also awesome, on of Metallica's Best in the last 20 years, a very solid effort.
BTW, after inspecting the interior, I noticed the jacket of the third vinyl is THE SAME as the second vinyl. This is of course a mistake, as I can see the pics here on discogs, and it's supposed to be a different one. The vinyl is just fine, E Lords Of Summer and F Hardwired (Live In Minneapolis). Does anybody have the same problem? Is there a way to the label and get a replacement with the right jacket?
Thank you!!! -

Edited 4 years agoSounds f ing great! It truly is a remarkable pressing. The tracking and mixing of this record is everything; the pressing was done with much care. The packaging in indicative of this. Killer release!!! Metallica forever!!

So is the blue color of the first disc only visible under strong light? Also, did anyone else's come "disassembled"? The one I found had the shrink slightly torn but it was otherwise new it seems, and when I opened it up all the discs, sleeves and lyric sheets were kind of loosely packed. Does look nice when you put all the discs in the sleeves though.

This is a beautiful pressing in of looks AND sound. all the extras are cool, too. I wore the "we're so fucked" button during my last year of high school and no one noticed.. good stuff.

I got this from amazon for $35AUD including shipping from US to Australia! Absolute bargain! Great album I already had the deluxe CD set and this was a price I couldn't up. Bring on the Aussie Worldwired tour!

One of the best sounding pieces of Vinyl I have ever listened to. Easily the number one box set and record collaboration in my collection!

I don't know why, but this was in Amazon at $28. Even considering shipping to my country it was a no brainer, I had to got this! And I am completely satisfied, the discs are beautiful, it sounds amazing, and regarding the songs, it has really good compositions. Plus, the packaging is great, just everything about it: the sleeves, inserts, and prints. And it has the amazing Ronnie Rising Medley. This is the must-have version of the album.

Just received the box set from the US. Superb. Only downside was that there were no buttons. Has anyone else had this issue?
