Additional recording was done at Win and Régine's house, the St. James Anglican Church in Bedford, Québec, the Église St. Jean Baptiste in Montréal, as well as in New York and Budapest. Additional mixing was done at Olympic Studios in London.

Orchestra and Choir Sessions recorded at the Hungarian National Radio Studios, Budapest.
The name Neon Bible, from a novel by John Kennedy Toole, is used with permission of Grove Press, Inc. c/o Macintosh & Otis Inc.
Some copies have got a sticker on the front side of the slipcase with the names of the band and the album.

was in love with this album for about a year and now im more sick of it, but ocean of noise is one of the most emotionally charged tracks ive ever heard. love it -
Good album. Hearing elements of Echo & The Bunnymen. Standout tracks - Windowsill, Black Mirror and No Cars Go. -
Had a few listens, it's ok but nothing grabs me. I know a lot of people love Arcade Fire, I just can't see what makes them great. The album is just OK.
