My copy sounds fantastic! No issues with Devil's Haircut like others. Plays smooth and with great sound!

Amazing mastering that brings out all the nuances. Unfortunately, I have gone through 3 different copies of this to find one without skips in 2 different bridges (Devil's Haircut / High 5). Other than that... great. Okay, a couple clicks earlier on Side B on other those 2 others.

So I guess I'm just unlucky? 3rd one sounds great.

Still sounds fire otherwise. It still has a spot on my shelf because it's such a cool variant.

One of my all time favorite albums. My pressing plays great. I originally had this on cassette years ago when it first came out.

Picked this up sealed from a local record store. Sadly there was a chunk of vinyl that came off and scratched the first 20-30 seconds of Devil's Haircut. Looks like others have had this issue. Otherwise sounds great without much surface noise and the master is very nice, just wish I could still return for a new one.

I listened to this CD a bunch on a lot of different equipment over the years, the mastering of this blows away the CD in my opinion. Vinyl is pretty typical of other Pallas I have - nice looking all around and very low noise floor with an occasional pop or click - nothing offensive. There are added pops and clicks on the original recording so the few I notice fit fine. I'm not sure if I have other non-black vinyl pressings from there but the color marbling doesn't seem to affect it negatively. Very happy with this and no desire to seek out any other pressing.

This pressing is superb. Nice full, rich sound. A great low end that really rounds out the sound and punchy drums. Quality pressing, no surface noise, centered, flat, no flaws. Great sound on this one. Spacious soundstage, doesn't sound compressed, makes my speakers come alive. Engaging, would reccomend.

Lovely reissue. Excellent sound, silent, crackle and pop free pressing with a nice colour. well done, vinyl me please!
Others seem to have been unlucky with their copies. At least vmp staff should help you out to get a nice pressing.
