Have not heard the original pressing of this, but wow this reissue sounds amazing! Pleasantly surprised how clean and live sounding it is. Def worth grabbing.

I discovered Mark Lanegan and the Screaming Trees during a trip to Ellensburg, WA their hometown this past month. I saw him mentioned in an Easy Street Records instagram post regarding a 7" original pressing single. They mentioned Ellensburg and it caught my attention. I even saw an amazing painting of the Trees at an art gallery in Ellensburg. I found his memoir at a local bookstore in E-burg and started reading it.

Days later I'm listening to this album and finding out about this amazing artist that left us too soon. We eventually made our way to Seattle and I promised myself if I saw this record at the Sub Pop store in downtown Seattle I'd get it. I bought it with a kudos comment from the sales clerk at Sub Pop. The record sounds even better. It's crazy to think what this man lived through only to be taken from us by Covid. Kurt Cobain makes a nice guest vocal appearance in this record. Great album and pressing.

      RIP Mark 🙏🏼

Bought a new copy at Easy Street Records in Seattle two days ago. Just opened it and on side B the label is affixed to the playable area of the record of course making side B completely unplayable. I live 3 hours away so had to email Sub Pop to see what can be done for a replacement. Will update once I get a reply.

**Update** - Got an email form SubPop. they were willing to send me a replacement but they are sold out. Guess I'll keep it and consider it a "variant" :)

**2nd update*** Knock on the door and a surprise deliver of a replacement record was sent directly from Easy Street Records!! Quite the surprise. Obviously Sub Pop and Easy Street discussed this and sent it to me. Amazing customer service!!!!

Exquisite reissue, Lanegan's first solo album, he certainly hit the ground running with this one. So good I use this as a reference record when trying new audio gear and stylus..

Does anyone know what songs Kurt Cobain is on? I'm pretty sure I hear him on a few but I'm not sure how many.

Mine has a gatefold cover, is this the gatefold version or does that need a separate entry?
