Pretty great sounding pressing. My copy has the misprint “Side C” on the back, however the record itself is properly labeled Side A and Side B. Only a few pops here and there but they weren’t too noisy. Album is a bit quiet but not as quiet as others in my collection, definitely doesn’t sound compressed. Overall a great album that sounds great on vinyl.

Just bought the new repress of this from Amazon and it sounds fantastic! (Such a relief after trying and failing to find any copy of Dreamland that doesn't sound like someone ran steel wool all over it.) Almost no surface noise. If I had any complaint, it's that it's a tad quiet, but that's what the Volume Up button is for. Highly recommend!
My copy doesn't have the hyper sticker, code or "SIDE C" incorrectly printed on SIDE B, so this new pressing should probably have its own Discogs entry. -
Was able to meet the guys when I went to their private concert. They were great and were able to sign my record. 10/10 album from Glass Animals.

Edited 5 years agoMy record was brand new, the vinyl itself wasn't pressed evenly. half of the edge was chamfered like on a normal good vinyl, and then the other half was flat on the edge so it didn't get pressed enough to stick out on that side and then get trimmed in the machine. The center hole also had excess vinyl sticking out that I had to widdle out, and THEN it looks like there is a little indent / deformity on part of the vinyl but thankfully I can't really feel much of a bump and it's in the center blank area just outside the label. Lastly, it looks to have a bit of a wobble / wave while it plays.
The record plays fine and sounds great, but it did skip once (on a new very expensive record player which hasn't skipped before). But overall the quality and quality control of the physical record (The music itself sounds good) is not good :/ very dissapointing for a brand new record of one of my favorite albums.
