Followup to my comment..According to Wikipedia: According to Jeff Tamarkin's history of the Airplane, "baxter" was the band's code for the psychedelic drug LSD or "acid", and the title as a whole translates to "After Tripping On Acid".
I suppose the weirdness of the color on my album could be a deliberate attempt to make it look like an acid trip, but I have no idea if any covers were intentionally made that way or if it's a counterfeit or some kind of error. -
Definitely the one I have but it looks strange on the front cover. The LSO-1511 Stereo is surrounded with a pink hue. The 4 stars are outlined in blue on the left and pink on the right with the 2 bottom lines of the stars with pink on left and blue on right. The RCA Victor square also has a blue outline on the left vertical side and pink on the right vertical side. The Airplane looks out of focus like the coloring didn't stay between the lines almost as if it's supposed to be in 3D. Hoping its not some counterfeit because the vinyl looks unplayed and it has the inner sleeve and all the right markings in the Matrix/Runout on both sides. Anyone have any idea about what I described ?
