Usually have a cue of curious onlookers rushing to see if it's the real deal when I play this 12" at my club... it's a dancefloor filler, no ifs, no buts or maybes... it actually has louder and deeper mastering for a punchier effect, similar to the remastered version on their #1s comp on cd. Reaches all genres of people, feel good song!!! Just wish they would extend the end a little bit with the violons !!!

Has anyone else found a copy of this with the same cat#, same label almost the exact same. But has Voulez-Vous on the B side instead of Dancing Queen on the A&B side?

This morning on the tube on the way in to work, I was listening to this:
Sizzle Featuring LaRom André Baker - Love Is All Around,
        this:
King Errisson - Manhattan Love Song / L. A. Bound,
        and this:
MFSB - Love Is The Message

I am now happy to state that I believe "Dancing Queen" to be one of my least favourite records ever. Pointless on 12", it's the same as the album version. The arrangement is poor, and ironically it's far too slow to actually dance to - perhaps it should be called "Tortoise Queen". The recording sounds tinny and trebly and listening to it makes me cringe.

In comparison with the three records I mention above, this record is truly one of the most unlistenable and undanceable pieces of music ever written. Hopelessly overplayed, it's a real blot on the landscape in the history of disco.
        Rated 1/5.
