Sia – This Is Acting

My copy doesnt have surface noize, but i very dissapointed pressing. Very flat and boring. If you did 12 minutes on side, sounding must be better.

The mastering is actually really fantastic, bass is punchy and not overblown, worst sounding song is probably cheap thrills. I seem to have gotten really lucky my copy that I got second hand is in fantastic condition. Little surface noise and no visible scratches.

The quality of the records is good in appearance (scuffs are present), the packaging and printing are good (the clarity of the picture is not at the highest level), the inner envelopes are made of plain paper, but the sound is horrible. The main complaint is the almost perpetual noise in the right channel. You can listen, but it is very unpleasant, or better to say - uncomfortable. EU edition.

Качество пластинок по внешнему виду хорошее (присутствуют потёртости), упаковка и полиграфия хорошая (чёткость картинки не на высшем уровне), внутренние конверты из обычной бумаги, но звук – это ужас. Главная претензия к почти вечному шуму в правом канале. Слушать можно, но очень неприятно или лучше сказать - некомфортно. Издание ЕС.

Terrible pressing, LOUD surface noise all the way through, white Vinyl is worst.

Terrible sound quality, terrible mastering (sounds like they used the crushed digital master for the vinyl cut), and terrible pressing. No visible problems but audible distortion in many places, especially where it gets loud. Virgin vinyl bought new in when it first came out. Played on high end system with ATC speakers in a mastering room. And no, I'm not talking about the US press but the EU press. Definitely not recommended.

EU pressing white vinyl disc is awful. 3 copies so far and dreadful hiss across both sides. Side C is worse.

I'm not sure what everyone's problem is with the pressing. Mine has no visible or audible abrasions. It sounds great! The only issue I had was the second record's (white vinyl, sides C/D) center hole was a little tight. After putting it on once or twice, however, it fixed itself.

As far as the album itself goes, this is a solid record. Sia is, in my opinion, one of the VERY few artists out there who use electronic music as their backup and still sound good. Granted, her AOL Sessions and her acoustic stuff is much better, but I digress. She is an incredible songwriter, of that there is no doubt. Her words are ionate and from the heart, and her voice lends a haunting quality to many of the words, while her ability to switch between tempo and pitch makes for some very entertaining singing. As I mentioned before, I would prefer if she would make music without all the synth-pop sounding shit, but she makes up for it with her absolutely gorgeous vocals and moving lyrics.
Recommended.

Sound quality imo is great, you can tell that this mix was expertly mastered... however the pressing is bad like others have said. Records came with small abrasions even though it was brand new and both records have tons of surface noise.

How many titles does the contain? Standard or deluxe edition? Thanks

My copy has a pretty good sound quality but the pressing is poor. Vinyls have visible marks and hearable scratches.
