I absolutely love this album and it is a huge accomplishment for Deftones. As for this pressing, it's generally thin sounding and has a lot of inner ring distortion. Unfortunate for such a beautiful piece of music.

Woahhh. I didn’t think this record would have such a good press. It’s sound phenomenal.

Just got a used copy of this for $25 and I am super impressed. Almost no surface noise, the mastering and mixing is dynamic and full sounding. Not the same sound as other deftones albums, but I love the melodic shoegaze direction. Absolutely great pressing

I'm like 95% certain this is the release I own but both of my LP's are not white. Side A and B is white...and then Side C and D is a purple and white marble mix? Can't seem to find anyone else with the same thing. Mistake during pressing maybe?

Less compression than the CD after A/B listening - holy cow the CD is compressed and thin sounding in comparison. The vinyl is a definite improvement, but that isn't saying all that much given the CD's compression. The cover is unfortunately a bit pixelated, especially "Gore". Ultimately I would not recommend, especially for msrp.

A little bit of surface noise on my copy of the album but nothing too bad. It doesn't come through the tracks at all and it's just a slight hiss between songs. Overall really love the presentation of this pressing, the gatefold is very nice and the color is a clean, stark white for my copy. Definitely recommend picking this up if you find it.

The gatefold, labels, and color of the records all come together in a really nice looking presentation. The sleeves were lined which was a nice touch as well. Disc 2 had a tiny remnant of grey mixed in with the white, but that seems to be pretty common with white vinyl releases. Both of the discs were decently flat as well, another nice thing to see from a color vinyl pressing. These records need to be wet cleaned a few times to get the best sound quality. Surface noise can be eliminated with a few deep wet cleans, and the music is really able to shine through. Deep and rich, and Chino’s vocals have a gorgeous clarity and intimacy to them. Seems that the pressing quality is pretty variable from copy to copy, so don’t settle for a poor sounding record!

I heard a very noisy side B myself. I was wondering if it was a bad pressing or maybe I didn’t clean it well enough or maybe it was warped. The noise is very apparent, like an extremely dirty groove coming from the right side/channel, most noticeable between Geometric Headress and Hearts/Wires. I can definitely hear it during quieter parts and as the side retires. I can also hear the same noise for a little bit between Acid Hologram and Doomed on Side A. Disappointing.

This is another reason why I prefer regular black over colored vinyl. I believe that typically I hear dirtier, nosier colored pressings more often than black vinyl.

No issue with my copy - sounds pretty decent with minimal noise/pops etc.. Clearly some people are having issues, but there are good copies out there (and I’m pretty picky!) ... My copy is pretty clean overall.

I am just not impressed with the quality of this pressing. It sounds a bit thin, maybe the 180g would sound better. Also, how are you going to charge almost $30 for a record and not have a card or CD with it?
