Hands down Cindy's best ever vocal is on Queen of Las Vegas (obviously followed very closely by Ain't It A Shame from "Bouncing "..)

      Have it, but the etchings on side A are: 1 2 3819 A WW1 ---< STERLING. No #+number. Side B is the variant 6.

Never find an used copy with the moon 83 song...seem to be very rare... Whatever, the first 3 songs from this album are among the best songs the group wrote. Side B is not as good...but I like the whole feeling on that album, the drum machine, hands clapping, it sound very good and I like it. It's a much better album then their next one release in 1986 just after Rick die.

The latter versions of Whammy that had "moon 83" as opposed to "Don't Worry" had/have a "white border" on the LP. The one I purchased was labeled as such, but when I played it expecting Moon 83 I was disappointed. I guess I have a real collectors item, since the record was mislabeled as well.

The first pressing had "Don't Worry" but all later pressings [and CD] have "Moon 83" instead due to issues with the Yoko Ono cover version.

Isn't there a US lp of this album without Don't Worry and with Moon 83? I am getting tired of finding Don't Worry on all of the lps on Ebay.

The first 3 songs on the album (1 of them, Legal Tender on NONE of the best of or comps that I’ve seen) make this entire B-52’s record worth it. 2 other songs are noteworthy, but the first 3 are the type of New Wave that made inspired the Southeastern US new wave and alternative scene.

A bold statement, but the first b-52’s albums really influenced a lot of artists that were into new wave as kids and teens.
