Excellent remaster and pressing. I’ll probably never be lucky enough to have a first pressing, so I don’t know what I might be missing, but this pressing sounds incredible. If I’ve listened to LZ II how many hundreds (thousands?) of time. It’s never sounded this good to my ears. Real presence; tight, well-mixed bass, and depth to the soundstage like I’ve never heard. Wish I’d picked up more of the 2016 (15?) Jimmy Page remasters sooner.

My only gripe is the fact it doesn’t feel like the players are in the room like my first pressing does. It’s not just bass or more bass. The issue is about the presence or maybe the room that I can’t quite hear.

The bass simply fills the room with my Sub. Excellent remaster. If there's a better copy than this under $50 please reply.

They say comparison is the thief of joy. I listened to this record without comparing to any of the many other versions out there and think it sounds great. The guitars are crunchy and bass is punchy. Drums sound great as well. No issues. Great record!

The bass is absolutely disgusting on this album (in the best way imaginable)

I have an RL SS MO and a few 70’s pressings with GP mastering. Don’t sleep on this reissue. I found this copy used and gambled on it for $20. So glad I did. A really great sounding pressing. A good cleaning would probably add even more to the listening experience. Many of the particulars related to sound, groove floor, dynamics have been covered in many of the aforementioned reviews so I will spare the rehash. I agree with all the positive about this 2014 LP. If you’re on the fence…make the jump. You won’t regret it.

Really respectable and high quality remaster, which compares favorably with the other high end pressings of this album. For me, it easily beats out the RL cut, but is still topped by the GP cut.

I don't have any other pressings to compare this one to but I am very happy with it. It doesn't sound as stellar as any of my other audiophile records but it is nice. If you can pick it up for an affordable price, I'd say go ahead and pick it up. You won't be dissapointed if this is your first experience picking up this album.

The bass is superb on this pressing. Jimmy’s guitar also shines, what a pressing!
