Edited 17 days agoI've found a pressing error on two clean examples of the 1st UK pressing. It causes an obvious "skip" during the 1st line of vocals on the first song which fouls up the rhythm and omits some lyrics. Anyone else find this? Luckily, my German reissue on Polydor sounds wonderful and does not have this problem. Great Eno album.

A seriously nice sounding pressing; my copy isn't perfect, but for the small amount of noise that it has, the music mostly drowns it out. Has that very large presence type of sound, plus the music is even better! I can't imagine it sounding much better than this.

I have 2 copies of this LP. There are minor but noticeable differences in the sleeves. One copy has blacked out eyes on the centre picture on each image and the small island i on the bottom back of the sleeve has a green edging which the other doesn't.
Can anyone shed any light on this? Thank you -
I'm listening to this on the headphones, after quite some time, to tell you the truth..... and I just can't help but wonder..... what a masterpiece..... it's all there, sped-up rock 'n' roll punk (Third Uncle), avant-garde quirkiness (The Fat Lady Of Limbourg & The Great Pretender), guitar rock 'n' roll madness (The True Wheel), a mellow ballad (Taking Tiger Mountain) and finally, a lullaby (Put A Straw Under Baby)........ just listen for yourselves!!!!!!!
