Everyone I think can agree, it's not "In A Mood", we can have that as a baseline presupposition, a premise that is already agreed upon.
Magic Cat is seriously incredible, had this been his only release, we'd be talking about it, like a lot, and there are standout tracks, that are just bonkers.
Well, he built on that, his next release being "In A Mood".
But this is not one to by, I would say check out the YouTube clips, if you find one in person, give it a listen if you can! Let it be it's own evidence, it has a magical sound, I really think Harry Case shows, he is one "Magic Cat" :) -
Yes, although it doesn't reach the unique heights of In A Mood it is definitely worth picking up if you can. Slightly more hi-fi, it uses some of the same keyboard sounds as the previous LP, and has that nice jazzy vibe with some light boogie touches.
Hopefully we will one day see a proper reissue of In A Mood, but in the meantime don't discount this one! -
