Edited 10 days agoGood pressing, got it through Amazon. Bit disappointed that the last note on A3 Coma is missing. A bit muddy on the inner tracks compared to other records but it's nice for MOV to produce this album on vinyl for the first time. So, it has decent sonic quality, and there aren't really any other options for this album on vinyl but I got it for £25, so it was really good value.

Flawless, almost. Strange to actually hear the very last second of Coma got cut off, but it’s not a deal breaker… Was it a tape or file transfer issue? We may never know..
I sat on getting this when it came out on vinyl, so happy I was able to find a sealed copy of this MOV pressing. Beautiful mix, mastering sounds perfect for the medium, felt just a tad bright but not sibilant, drums and guitar kill on this pressing, vox are perfect. -

Pressing - 5/5
This is MOV through and through - nice, flat, heavyweight vinyl and really well pressed. Their quality control is very good in my experience and this record is no exception.
Mastering - 3.5/5
This record is best played loud with a thumping sub. The lows and mids are well represented here. But, the highs get a bit washed out to my ear. The guitar and bass sound great, but the vocals can be a bit muddy at times and the drums sit back in the mix. Songs that are more drum/vocal focused like Hollywood Bitch and Wonderful aren't very dynamic and kind of fall flat. That being said, it still sounds pretty good. As others mentioned, my copy is also missing the last second of Coma, which is weird and docks a half point for me.
Packaging - 4/5
Nothing special but also nothing bad, WYSIWYG.
Overall - 4/5
Good listen when played loud and this album is super underrated. The DeLeo brothers shine on this pressing, as the guitar and bass are fantastic. But, in my opinion, the Tiny Music and No. 4 MOV releases are much better. -
This LP is huge & powerful sounding, totally exploding out of the speakers, yet when psychedelically required it's fidelious & holographic as well. Best played LOUD

30 years later I'm not getting into this band although back in the early 1990's when I was in my mid 20's ... It seems like when Nirvana ended ... This band made 3 good albums the first 3 ... I never knew about this one or the 1999 one or the 2010 which got killed by everyone... The releases on these one's are like shit ... Like this isn't going to get a super deluxe box set... Grunge really ended about a few years after Cobain died. And when SPEARS but a SPEAR in the whole thing and it turned into PORN ROCK... PPPPPORN ROCK...

Missing the last second of Coma. Pretty inexcusable. Great album, sound quality is good, but this kind of ruins the experience
