Edited one year agoThis pressing seems to suffer from some sibilance across the entire disc and also inner groove distortion. Having said that, it is quite warm and the mastering is good. Side B sounds a lot better than A for me. Holding out hope for a 2LP repress -
Edited 4 months agoThis is a really good pressing of a fantastic album, the production is top-notch, the lows are fat 'n' meaty, the midrange to the fore and the highs smooth and in the right balance, there's an analogue feel to the sound as a whole, reminiscent of the yore, in the beginning of both sides, there's some "boiling" surface noise, rather low in pitch, it all vanishes when the music kicks in, I suppose an ultrasonic cleaning will do it justice!!!
