Edited 2 years agoThe groove quality of this pressing is very good. Extremely dynamic cut, dead quiet when it should be (played back with a line trace). I have only ever listened to the album digitally before now and would say the master for vinyl is worth the superlatives.
One comment about overall quality – I'd say whoever was responsible for QC and trimming swarf/flashing off the edge of each record dropped the ball a bit when they handled mine. It's incredibly rough and unfinished. -

I just picked up a sealed copy of this at a local indie shop..the vinyl is perfectly flat and dead quiet..really amazingly quiet..the sonics are wonderful..full and balanced across the spectrum with a spacious soundstage..thrilled with how good it sounds

Maybe the new batch of pressings are improved or something, people def are cappin with this pressings quality, no clicks or pops, vry pleasant sounding. Is the first pressing thingy just snake oil or something? I absolutely doubt its AAA considering the day and age this thing was released, just seems illogical that they’d use subpar mixes/transfer for a reissue smh, the wax they used before was prob just wack or something.

Echoing many of the comments here, this pressing is outstanding and you shouldn’t hesitate to pick it up if you’re a fan. Buy with confidence.

Don't believe the haters. This repress is dead silent. It's like hearing the album for the first time again. Gorgeous.

so, i usually don't leave reviews but after buying this i checked the reviews and thought i may have bought a shitty copy of this beautiful record. but no. this sounds wonderful. very happy with my copy and highly recommend this gem to anyone who doesn't wanna fork over 150 on an OG.

Edited 3 years agoThe mastering/cutting really is shit on this one. The sound is completely flat and lifeless. The original CD version is much better in comparison. Warp should be ashamed of themselves.
NB: I have compared this to the original, and this repress is garbage in comparison. It’s not even close.
