Rocketman’s best record? Yes. Probably his most ambitious and famous record of his career. Not to say he is not a hit maker but this one is ed with them! My pressing is fantastic! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

The title track to this album might be the greatest song Elton John ever recorded, and if it's not his best vocal performance, I don't know what is. This pressing sounds good, plenty of low end, instrumentation and vocals are clearly defined, and the soundstage is open and spacious. My copy plays like a champ, with almost no surface noise.

My matrix aligns with this release but my copy is a trifold cover, should this release be changed to say "Trifold" instead of "Gatefold"?

I really don’t see why everyone complains about the sound quality of the US pressings. I have this pressing and it sounds great coming out of my hifi system. I’m sure there are better pressings out there, but this pressing does not sound like “garbage” like everyone claims it does.

I like this album a lot but I think it could have been a single disk. Pare down some of the songs and its a great release.

on my copy, the label for side 2 is just a blank mca records label. aside from 'mca records,' there is no text at all.
