Perfect in every sense. My first encounter with Pat Metheny Group. Concert in Ljubljana in 1991 just a few days before the war will always be in my mind as my 6 year old daugher fell asleep round midnight in my lap. Pat is in her veins from this moment :-) -
I was given this record as a present for my twentieth birthday many many years ago when I worked as a kitchen porter in the Olympia Zentrum hotel in Munich. The chamber maids and hotel staff who signed the inner were mostly Yugoslavian, this was before the war destroyed the country. It's one of my most treasured records. Having seen Pat and the band many times in many incredible locations ... I can say this CD brings it home musically. I would love to see a re-master on 45 RPM / 180 Gram Vinyl.

The other ECM albums d on that inner/insert definitely make this a mid-80s repress rather than a 1983 original - can anyone date it accurately?
