Edited 2 years agoSounds great on my setup. I only wish it had included a few extras (booklet, pictures, etc.). Otherwise this is a great compilation.

I'm actually pretty happy with the sound quality, seems like as the record progresses the quality improves. Tune by tune the dynamics get better, more soundstage and full range. Yes, Crazy Train doesn't sound all that great, but the rest of the cuts are better and I was able to listen very loudly and didn't have to adjust the tone controls on my Parasound HINT6,

Have to agree with previous posts. Great collection that sounds tinny. Have to really tweak the EQ on this one.

Edited 5 years agoI should have heeded the warnings but I’ll chime to say how terrible this pressing is. Completely lifeless with no dynamics and side 3 is off-centred and with so much digital compression it makes this side almost unlistenable. Strangely side 4 improves slightly but falls apart by track 4. Very inconsistent mastering. My pressing also suffers from non-fill in parts, ripple warps on both discs but still plays. I’m probably going to eject this from my collection and return it while I still have time on the receipt. Seriously, avoid this pressing like I should have.

For me would be difinitive if shot in the dark was on it. Finally pulled the trigger on this one. Still waiting on it. Review will come when ready

Holy hell, "Perry Mason" and "I Just Want You" sounds absolutely terrible on this press. Anyone know where they grabbed the tracks from?
