This is an essential release for the genre and for me the gem on here is 'Rotterdam'. That screechy eerie sound is fascinating, I don't know if its a sample (most likely) but its one of the best sounds I have heard for this genre period. The hihats are highly distorted but still sound very good and also its not only the typical 1 time offbeat pattern between the Bassdrums. Speaking of the Bassdrum: it is killer - very fat and with a demolishing tail. The dreamy strings part adds great depth and comes as a surprise around middle of the track. It gets accompanied by this great sound of swirling LFOs. This song is very unique I think, and I believe this is a masterpiece track.

B1 'Rotterdam Terror' is also a very good driving Hardcore track that set the way for so many tracks that came afterwards.
B2 'Drummachine' I hear also on the positive side, however personally never was a huge fan of these chipmunk vocals. Still kicks ass.
And I agree with d-high, the A2 'Hardcore' track is the weakest on here.

A classic! "Rotterdam Terror" definitely belongs into the Gabba Hall of fame if it existed. It was such a game changing track with its rough saw synth and driving beat. This is closely followed by Drummachine another gabba classic. Rotterdam was rather the anthem with the distorted bass/beat and frequencies. Hardcore is the weakest track on this must have early hardcore vinyl.

Drummachine uses the famous Sweet Tee - It's My Beat acapella (used on all sorts of Dutch hardcore productions back in the 90ies)

This 12" is a legend. It is a blueprint for Rotterdam Hardcore
and made this sound known worldwide.
When it came out it was the radical music the dancers were often
searching for. And they did find...
Rough, simple and effective. A must 4 everybodys early-90s-
          techno(gabba)collection.
