These are great remixes. Think stylized, choppy, upbeat, samples of obscure mid 1980's Boogie, funk, tracks from UK and Japan. But all of these songs are really edits/remixes, not original works. There really isn't much original musical content here, just some added side chain compression, tempo variation and stutter effects. Don't get me wrong, it sounds dope, but even the song structure remains quite close to the originals on a few tracks. I'd like to see the original artists credited and then noted as "edit / remix by Yung Bea". I hope the artist keeps working and creating, maybe coming up with new sounds! I love his sensibilities and would love to see some more creative energy put into original compositions.
