Unsure what the number "3500" means on the Blue Note sticker on the last image means. But my version is 2500. I thought it may have meant how many were pressings there are for this reissue? But it can't be both? -
Outstanding mastering! Unfortunately, typical RTI pressing quality - considerable amount of pops and clicks or even non-fill, high static surface noise. It's listenable (especially because of the great music and perfect mastering), but I still don't understand how people are thinking of RTI pressing high quality records. It is just not the case. Maybe they are theoretically able to do so but their quality control department regularly proves me and many other people otherwise. After all, I am not too disappointed even though I paid 240 € for the album, again, the music and mastering is so good, you just don't want to think too much about the bad quality control of RTI and rather tap your feet along The Sidewinder.
