What is the indication for this version being released in 2014? On my copy (just as the notes on this version state) it says "(P)&(C) 2001". Original release is on Virgin, this is on Parlophone and lacks the credit card extra, so this must be a reissue, but where does the info come from that it was made in 2014?

Why is this pressing so expensive in the marketplace? i bought it in Chile for like $40 usd dollars. It sounds really deep, especially disc 2

Edited 3 years agoNo issues with extraneous noise. Before first play, cleaned with RCM and zapped it with Furutech deStat device. Plays perfectly with great, full sound. Pro-ject Debut Carbon Evo turntable, Ortofon Blue cart.
-
Damn couldn’t be happier. Sound is deep on this vinyl. Don’t have any issues on mine. Cleaned it before playing. A,B,C& D play flawlessly.
-
Does anyone else have this reissue and find it to be extremely noisy? There's a ton of pops and crackles on my copy. I've even cleaned it a couple times and it's still crackly. Totally ruins some of the quieter ages. The mastering job sounds great, but that noise is really detracting from the music for me.
-
Good press, solid album. Don't quite at the level of Homework or Random Access Memories but still a solid and classic French dance album.
-
Repress, reshmesssh. Honestly, don't be disappointed if you didn't get an original copy of this LP. I think it's better than R.A.M. Nuff said.
-
My copy is also fine. I’ve added the runout codes in the description, mine are the Gopher ones. Maybe the hiss is on the other version? When in doubt, check the runout and buy the Gopher version, it sounds great.
-
Just bought a copy of this pressing. No hissing to report on any of the album, even at the more quiet parts. I purchased it in a recordstore in Copenhagen - dont know for how long this example have been in the store, but it seems like they might finally did fix the hissing issue.
