This is just like the European release although it omits the extended version, but why? Surely it would be quicker and easier to make many copies of the same disc and distribute that than to make a special batch of shorter CDs for the UK market?
I like the first track, which I think everyone does which is why the song became so popular. This song even charted on import in the UK before it was released there. The remixes are a little interesting but in my opinion are just clearly there to fill up the disc a bit.
This is clearly a song which does not fare well with remixing treatment. No disrespect intended, that's just the way it is.
Sadly things like this probably led to the death of the B side. People probably got more and more annoyed buying singles like this just for one track that they really wanted. The only properly interesting track was removed for this release.
