A unique artist and music presence in popular Nigerian Music. His few recordings are some of the more innovative and best recorded albums. Averaging 23 or more musicians on these recordings and taking them on tour with him, King Sunny Ade draws from the best. Placing talking drums, subtle guitar-work, pedal steel and vocals at front, his music floats in rhythmic space. Mesmerising. Engineer Katrin Lesevre, Mixdown Godwin Logie, and Producer Martin Meissonnier at their best. -
This one is trippy! A treat if you like afro vibes and haven't yet dipped into the world of JuJu. A steal at this price. -
Hands down one of the best west African Lp's of all time...even though it's very modern and kind of psychedelic which is another of the reasons it's so great. A huge LP for me growing up and still sounds great to this day...Juju at it's very best!
