Recorded for KCRW at Apogee Studio on April 18th 2013. The vinyl edition features two additional, live recordings from the session, ‘Into my Arms’ and ‘God is in the House’.
Rear sleeve notes;- 'At the end of a three month World tour for "Push The Sky Away", in the spring of 2013, Nick Cave and a pared down version of the Bad Seeds performed a show in California for KCRW in front of 180 people.
No rehearsals, no cameras, no overdubs. This is the result.'
Gatefold sleeve.
Comes in two plain beige paper inner sleeve.
Made in the EU.
US version was released on Black Friday Record Store Day.
European version released December 2, 2013.
Both US & EU versions include a coupon for MP3 of all tracks (announced on a shrinkwrap sticker). US version comes with a second shrinkwrap sticker for Record Store Day and was available in the following quantities: 3000 (USA), 1500 (Canada).
No printed track running times on this release.

Great pressing. Very clean. No complaints at all. Nick Cave is a great performer. Also the collection of tracks on here are some of my favourite Bad Seeds songs. Recommended!

music and pressing are first class in my opinion. no pops no clicks, clean recording. but please throw away the inner sleeves immediately and at least replace them with poly lined ones.

"Comes in two plain beige paper inner sleeve": I now own two copies of this 2LP record. The one I bought at the original release date (2013) came with the beige paper inner sleeve. The one I bought in 2021 came with WHITE paper inner sleeve. Furthermore the cover (front and back) has a slightly bluer tone than then the one from 2013. The rest is identical. Possibly a re-pressing?

This is one of the best sounding presses in my entire collection. As mentioned before, stunningly warm and clear. -
Great sounding pressing, warm, clear and stereoscopic. Strong warpage of disc 1 of my copy but luckily no sound influence. Unfortunately, inner sleeves are not poly lined.
