There are fifty-eight tracks. Digitally remastered six-CD box set of the complete Columbia recordings made between 1955 and 1961.
Including eighteen previously unreleased tracks with "90 minutes of new music" as the shrink-wrap sticker announces.
The discs are housed inside a hard-back die-cut hessian book pack with an etched metal spine inside an outer metal slipcase box.
The 116-page integral booklet contains extensive liner notes, full discography of the time period, and many rare photographs of the musicians.

This may be seen as a cash in because a lot of this material is available on the albums Coltrane played on when he was in Miles band.
The tracks are also chronological so you get a bit of repitition on alternative takes. But taken as a whole, Miles Davis and John Coltrane are two of the most prominent jazz figures of the 20th century so it's a historically important document with essential music.
