Mine plays fine. My theory is everyone at Target bought them a Crosely with the record, and then said this thing skips.

No die-cut front cover, no skips on record but matrix/runout is the right one (no romans numerals written). So what? Is it the 1st press?

I didn't have any issues with my pressing, but there appears to be an error in whatever master file they used to make both the digital and vinyl versions of "Future Days." Near the end, just before Eddie sings ". . . closer became us." It's pretty obviously some sort of digital artifact error. Pretty amazing that no one on quality control caught that.

Edited 5 years agoDoes anyone have issues with this pressing? thus far (on ma copy) tracks 1,2 (side A) and track 1 (side B) have skips. The rest plays fine. Bought it at ma local record shop in NYC.
UPDATE (4/22/2020)
Tracks mentioned above that skipped: none of them skip now (please check your rig) but a very few pops present. Plus on side B, noticeable surface noise. Unfortunately I bought this on the first batch of first pressings with defects on the LP.
