The Dub should just be an instrumental of the Club mix, as the production is way better and it’s tighter. The snare is too far forward in the mix on both the Dub and Jazzy version. A shame as, without the corny vocal, this track would be a classic.

Who used this Bassline 1st - Kevin Irving - (Children Of The Night) or indeed This Master C&J Release ? I purchased both in 1987 in a shop called Spin Off's In Hammersmith. Still playing both tracks To this day....amazing work from both artists.

A track that still represents a major diversification for house music in the UK,
its hypnotic hook coupled with the more usual house bass and drum made it an instant classic. Its style was years ahead of its time and can be heard in many
house trance styles since, especially in its "Dub It" version. Originally I
heard the track late in 1986 at Rock City in Nottingham UK, and through the
Classic Groove DJs Paul and Derek from Leicester who I am sure are still capable of putting the present day 'super star DJs' to shame.
Still listened to and really enjoyed by myself and countless others, takes me right back....... [LeeSta]
