Edited 3 years agoThe Led Zeppelin sampler plate, throwing together some leftovers from hear and there, a few new delights and the ironic introduction of the Swan Song label, a fine farewell to kings. This edition has excellent sound. The transfers are revealing and dynamic. These are not audiophile recordings, but they kick. An observation, The Wanton Song is pure bebop. Transcribe it for a small combo in 1950, Charlie Parker would be impressed.
