As owner of the 7" since 1983 i loved the produtcion on thát one. Recently obtained this as 12", and wooow, as if I hear different versions, the productions truly comes so much more to life on this 12 "
I know these songs for over 40 years and still sing along with them, and now i hear much more layers and instrumentations !!
( i have several 'dead' cd- versions/remasters as well... none of them compare to this ) -
When I bought this record in the 90's it struck me how much the image here looks like Michael Jackson, I've had other people first mistake this as a MJ album. I wonder, since MJ was a fan -- so much so he had Adam Ant invited to Motown 25 -- if Mr. Ant was some sort of template for his look, pirate suit, white socks, I see a trend here, this definitely has the BAD era face. All that aside, this a great ep with some bite.
