This EP is when everybody learned the name Noisia.

If you listen to the releases before this, up til April 2005, they still sounded like everyone else, learning and decent but forgettable. Everything past the Block Control EP has unmistakeable Noisia sound design and creativity. From June 05 to the end of the year, they released The Tide, Sacrifice, the Monster ep, Brainstitch, a huge glow-up from just 5 months earlier. Some kind of switch got flipped and nearly every release afterward was unique, loved, rinsed, and definitely them. They could do no wrong for the next 10 years (Dead Limit and Incessant released in 2015), a longer stretch than any previous conqueror story such as Bad Company and Pendulum.

Whatever happened in their studio that conquered the DnB world, it happened in Apr 05 with this EP.

2005-2015 was ruled by Noisia in the dnb world.

An outstanding ep and a must have. Block control was the tune that got played out the most but for me believe was the track that stood out .

Still one of the best Noisia release ever! Every track has his own typical sound. If i had to choose than Believe and Cold Veins are my favoriete tracks, but Exorcism and Block Control are heavy as fuck Too!
Believe & Cold Veins 10/10, Exorcism 9/10, Block Control 8/10
5 big stars for these 3 guys!

Normally I don't encourage bootlegging, but somebody should boot this.

this one is the best Noisia's release in my opinion. each track is "must have" dancefloor stomper. its a shame that they dont make such tunes nowadays...

This is one of the most powerfull ep i had ever listened to. I'd first known the Noisia's work with this vinyl on the 05.2 mixed session by Calyx. Block control is one of the anthems of our partys, suchlike Cold veins, Believe and of course Exorcism ! In fact, the all ep is like a god over here. We always search it on stores, have to make it come from england or usa, and put on the k2 to see why we paid it for !
If you like rolled drums with powerfull sub-bass behind, breaked fat beats with spacy universe behind, women' singing on an aquatic bass, put this record on your collection ! One of the best msx's limited series !
