Massive tune. I've detested it since the first time I heard it. Why the fuck this weedy little thing had mass appeal I've never figured out. So many truly brilliant tunes around at the time and this crud is one that went stratospheric (I'm, not bitter at all, honest guv! :D)

Look, I am older than I was when this was out, but I recall this in the clubs in Manchester when I was in my early 20s and my word what a choon. That riff was all I recall hearing and falling in love with it. I anticipated the release and ventured to HMV to only find it on import on CD. Now back then single releases were around £0.99, £1.99 or £2.99. The import was £9.99 I held off. It vanished from the shelves and I haven't checked since, but am sure the song was either held back from being released or was banned because there was a delay with it coming out when it should have.
Anyway, it did get released, I grabbed the UK copy with 3 mixes and ended up caving when the import came back on the shelves and made the purchase.
