Wonderful pressing. My only complaint is that the bass can come off muddy at some points but other than that it’s fantastic.

This is from the 1B mono lacquer. 1A and 1C are US original mono pressings. The original mono masters are long since lost or destroyed. Any modern mono reissue is a full down of the stereo masters, if it’s from the original source tapes. Beautiful sounding pressing. Likely equivalent to the US mono pressing. As such, copies of this are undervalued.

I have this and a couple of original US six-mono copies and this one sounds best, hands-down. Maybe Canada has a better pressing plant? I also have Canada six-eyes of Mingus Ah Um and Brubeck Time out--also great sounding pressings.
