Why hasn't anyone added the 2022 repress version of this album yet to the database since so many seem to be in the know? How would it be identified?
-
I don’t know if I own the re press or original because I was so in a hurry paying for it at a local record store as soon as I saw it. It was the last copy and I never seen it again. The cover art is in B&W but it doesn’t have a barcode so I thought for the longest it was a bootleg. If someone can help me identify my copy it would be great. Also the pressing sounds magnificent. And sounds best at night.

My copy has a lot of pops and clicks like many other folk have mentioned here. Have given it a thorough clean multiple times. A few very small marks and blemishes on the vinyl, so it's probably a combination of poor quality control and pressing. Thankfully mine doesn't skip . Aside from that, the music itself is absolutely beautiful.

Anno 2023 I picked this one up for €30 in a record store in Brussels. Honestly I was willing to pay more.
-
All it takes is a little brush cleaning before playing (i do this with all my records). My copy has no surface noise and plays perfectly. Such a great listening experience.
-
Anybody have a copy of this one? Pretty sure mine is the 2022 version but the matrix / runout is the same as the 2013 version
-
was very enthused to grab this at a local shop for $40 on 7/14/22…until i realized it was being repressed literally the very next day…o well 🥴

finally repressed and available: https://grouper.bandcamp.com/album/dragging-a-dead-deer
word word word word word -
Happy to own this but the surface noise is very apparent on my copy. I can mostly ignore it though considering the mastering is pretty lofi, not sure if this is any better or worse than the original pressing.
