Apparently this is a remaster :

    https://www.highresaudio.com/en/album/view/c737do/bad-religion-recipe-for-hate-remastered

released in 2020, except there's no releases from 2020 listed for this album, it's the only BR album which has no remaster that needs one (STF got one and the original is perfect sounding, the remaster isn't good at all).

I don't know this site very much, it seems to resell web ed flacs (with authorization) and is not a streaming platform, just a place to flacs

Can anyone pin down what release this would be?

This album never grabbed me when it was released. Of the later albums Process and and Empire are better.

This album needs to be remastered like all the Epitaph releases previous to it, it sounds thin compared to the following albums which do not need to be remastered, Stranger Than Fiction's production is amazing, mixed by Andy Wallace, of course, that guy can do no wrong (Slayer's Seasons In The Abyss, Nirvana's Nevermind and too many to mention).

To my mind, Skyscraper is a very underrated BR song, both musically and lyrically. Indeed, the scriptural parable in question was "never any good," and Brett was right to criticize it.
