Edited 2 years agoThis is a really nice sounding pressing of Venus and Mars. While I haven't yet compared it directly to the US version, I do not recall the US pressing sounding this nice. I always thought V&M sounded pretty dull and flat. This pressing is certainly neither dull nor flat. It is lively, punchy and detailed. Not in any way overly bright. And nice quiet Japanese vinyl as well!! Happy to add this to the archive!!

It isn't noted on Discogs but there is actually two Japanese releases of this LP. The second has some additional numbers and characters in the run out on bot sides. The sound is very different also, the second release is very lacking in bass and sounds like a much different LP. I have had both pressings and found out the hard way.
