Edited 8 months agoVery good "Dan Harrow" record, the kind of song that you have to hear a few times before you really appreciate it, but by then you often like them more than those songs that are so "easy on your ears".
Pity that he never sang himself (Silver Pozzoli) did that for him on this one, just like his first two records were sung by Chuck Rolando (To meet me & A Taste of Love) and the next one (Future Brain) was sung by Tom Hooker, just like the following tracks (Bad Boy, Overpower, Charleston, Catch the Fox, Don't Break my heart, etc.). But as we can see on the page of Den Harrow here on Discogs:
"In 2012 Stefano Zandri (i.e Den H.) itted that he never sang on any 'Den Harrow' records. Zandri (now living in Brescia) continues to make public appearances as he re-recorded all the old hits with his own voice after taking voice lessons since 1998."
BTW. The clip of "Tam Harrow" - "Vodka Kaboom" (made by Tom Hooker & Den's all time producer Miki Chieregato, maybe conceived when Zandri kept denying that Tom Hooker sang lots of his songs(?)) is hilarious, watch it! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HJjhktV-TfI
