I’m just wondering how 1,073 people have this album when it is supposedly limited to 1,000 copies? Not saying that anyone doesn’t have this that claims to, but did they make more than 1,000 copies? If so then it’s kind of a issue. It makes the value go down. I have this album and it looks like it’s a RIAA gold award album. It’s also the worst sounding album I own. It’s extremely noisy and I play the black version which isn’t much better, but it’s no where near as bad as the gold version. Some people say that they have had issues with the gold pressing and others say their copy sounds fine. Playing this on a ClearAudio turntable with a $1,500 Ebony Maestro V2 cartridge.

In my opinion, the gold copy is a complete mess!

I bought one of these when it was released. It's mostly fine. It's occasionally a little noisier than I'd expect a black copy to be. Great master though, and cool looking vinyl.

My copy is super clean aside from an anomaly on 'D.' I haven't had any skate issues or "whooshing" sounds. My predications are that the count between plate swapping was super high. I think there are clean copies of this and some noisy copies. Pretty common in pressings around the 800-2000 copy range.

DAMN IT this thing actually looks gold. Not just dirty yellow like I thought it would. Shouldn't have skipped the preorder..

Great record, gold vinyl is awesome.. But it should really be on a 1LP.
