1991: Everyone was going crazy on the dancefloor when the DJ used to play the "In House Dub". Especially on the hi hats parts which stop and go all the track. A real dance floor bomb !

Edited 2 years agoCLS "Can You Feel it " is such a classic track and is all about the "In House Dub", its all about that synth rift, played so many times, lifted so many hands in the air injecting that huge sound onto the dance floor, plus sampled & remixed so many times and the changes are will be into the future. I guess what I am saying is we have heard it so many times over the years it becomes a little so what, with the occasional version grabbing our attention, but just think this was the original, the effect it had when it dropped on the dance floor and for the riff to be copied so many times has to say it has something special. Fantastic track never get board of that riff.

Edited 9 years agoThe In House Dub is undeniably an oldschool rave classic, but give credit to the Blizzard mix as well.
It's kinda "Hard (Hip) House". A nice little rasping bassline runs under some hands-in-the-air piano, along with some pretty cool MC lines.
But yeah, this release is really all about the In House Dub.
Absolute monster of a tune, very influential. -
