Edited 57 minutes agoMy copy (EU) is flawless. Sounds phenomenal right out of the sealed packaging. Surreal and enveloping sound.

The problems I've heard about sound quality have nothing to do with the record needing cleaning. It appears to be another record cut to a less than stellar lacquer. There has been a lacquer shortage as of late and I can see baked in marks from this dried out disc. I would hope that collectors would have some amount of knowhow by now considering many people have been doing this for decades and have surely found lathe cut discs before and can tell when they are cracking. Another hobby being brought down by sheer ignorance and unwillingness to learn. Our modern world in a nut shell.
-
I think I was one of the lucky few as my copy played perfectly from the start without the need of thorough cleansing. It was an otherworldly experience throughout. Perfect sound and quality.
-
im sorry but this record might be awesome to have... but how echoes isn't in on one side is kind of a lost step to me... i mean its possible as it been done in the bootleg before but here we are again

Cleaning a record should be normal practice by everyone in the hobby. Folks think they can drop a needle on a record these days fresh outta the shrink. Times have changed and you must thoroughly clean them first before you critique.

Edited 2 days agoI've gotten three Copies of this Album and all of them had Issues. One was a Factory Defect and had terrible surface noise on side B, the Next Copy sounded very good but was slightly warped, and The Latest Copy Sounds so Flat and has constant surface noise during all 4 sides. Even after a clean. Did anyone else experience similar issues? Other than that this album is incredible.

I bought a US copy, and it was a disaster: the records were scratched, dirty, and the listening experience was extremely unpleasant, with crackling noises from start to finish on all four sides.
I gave in and bought the European pressing. Even though it’s not perfectly silent, the listening experience is enjoyable. I wholeheartedly recommend this pressing, having tested both versions. -
I nearly didn’t buy this after reading poor reviews about the quality, but mine is perfect, couldn’t be better.
